Boston, Massachusetts - 2006
Architect: Studio Luz
The design objective of this Japanese sushi and grill restaurant was to create a stylish, casual dining environment through the use of elegant and affordable architectural forms, evocative organic shapes and materials.

“V” shaped bent metal “beams” were laser cut to have a myriad of horizontal slots. The “beams” were arranged across the ceiling in a rhythmical fashion to underscore the oriental architectural “feel” of the venue.
